I can’t ALWAYS talk about the same thing, so here’s something TOTALLY different.
Back in 2023, I was asked to give an interview about one of the biggest cases I’d ever worked on. This was a lawsuit filed by A-list star Colin Farrell against his ex-girlfriend who was trying to sell a tape of them having sex. I represented a Phoenix-based website owner who was dragged into the fight just because someone offered the tape to my client (who never actually bought it).
This case made national headlines at the time, because back in 2005, you just didn’t see or hear about stuff like this. 20 years ago, the Internet was such a different place — YouTube literally did not even exist when these events occurred. And while Internet porn certainly existed, it was nowhere near as mainstream. So, back in those days, to have a big star like Colin Farrell appearing in a sex tape was extremely newsworthy.
