Got family arriving today. No videos and no long posts.
I’ll just say — several things were filed today, including my Response to the bar’s “we win!” motion. I also got a VERY interesting pleading from Mata’s lawyer, and an email from Mata’s dad, but that stuff is not ripe for discussion. We’ll get to that later.
For now, you can’t really understand the issues without both the Complaint and Answer, so I will post those here as well.
If/when the bar files a reply (due in 5 business days), I’ll add that. For now I’ll leave a placeholder without a working link.
NOTE – it pains me to say this, BUT I need to place people on notice — the bar’s complaint contains allegations that are 100% factually false. The neutral report privilege allows you to republish even false statements, BUT you MUST include a “fair and neutral” summary of the WHOLE story. That means you MUST include a comment that says I have denied any wrongdoing, and my position is bar counsel has made claims in here which are completely and totally false.
