Murum Aries Attigit – The Ram Has Touched The Wall

Filed today with the PDJ: Motion for Alternative Service on Mata.
OK, but what’s this really all about?
Over the years, I’ve accepted service of subpoenas/summons and other legal process hundreds of times. I always told my clients – avoiding service is a waste of time. Plus, it makes you look guilty.
If you have a strong defense, don’t even think about dodging service. Only the guilty do that. Let me accept service by email and we’ll get straight to winning in court.
That’s the power move. Don’t hide. Confront with your best truth.
Hiding is weak. It’s unprofessional, and it’s ultimately futile. It never works.
My prediction – if the court grants either my Motion to Compel the CJC’s records OR if we reach a point where either Mata or her dad are served, refuse to comply, and then are hit with an OSC re: Contempt, that will be the endgame. And this point is coming soon. Lots of steps along the way, but the clock is ticking and we’re clearing hurdles quickly.
If either of those things happen (MTC being granted or OSC re: Contempt being issued), that’s game over. Jim Lee will either ask me to consent to a dismissal or he will just move to dismiss (like he did last time). That’s my prediction.
Either way, I will follow the strategy used by my friend Marc Randazza: Murum Aries Attigit.
