I’ve already written way too much, so I’ll just say this – no more blog posts for a while.
There’s no need. Not until the PDJ rules on either of the pending matters (Jim Lee’s “I win” motion, or my motion to compel Mata to hand over some documents). There is no time limit for the PDJ to decide those, but so far she seems to be moving pretty quickly.
For now, I’m working in the background drafting the next thing — which is the anti-SLAPP motion/MSJ (in the alternative). That could be moot, of course, if the PDJ grants Jim Lee’s motion….but honestly, I don’t mind either way.
If the PDJ says Jim Lee wins, that makes my life easier…since there will be zero reason to stay in AZ even one more day. If that happens, my house will go on the market immediately, and I’ll just deal with the appellate briefing remotely…..hopefully from a nice, quiet beach somewhere.
